Si-COAT is a one-component, moisture curing, room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) coating that provides long-lasting protection from corrosion in above-grade atmospheric applications and retrofit projects.
Typical applications include protective ceramics, concrete tank exteriors, and other areas wherever heavy corrosion is a concern such as metal roofs, cladding, heavy machinery, or spools with poorly kept previously applied coatings. This benefits retrofitting projects where coverage is essential and high levels of protection, adhesion, and elasticity are desired.
Si-COAT has shown excellent resistance to environmental pollutants and virtually all corrosive chemicals found in industrial plants.

- Flexibility: High elasticity allows for flexibility of coating and allows for thermal expansion and contraction of surfaces.
APPLICABLE STANDARDS:
When fully cured and washed Si-COAT meets the extraction limits stipulated in the FDA 21 CFR177.2600 for rubber articles in contact with aqueous and fatty foods.
